null The Commissioner for Fundamental Rights of Hungary gave a presentation at the conference marking the 25th anniversary of the establishment of the Czech Ombudsman Institution

Dr Ákos Kozma, Commissioner for Fundamental Rights of Hungary, participated in and delivered a presentation at the professional conference held on 21 May 2025 in Brno, on the occasion of the 25th anniversary of the establishment of the Czech Ombudsman Institution. The event also featured speeches by Czech Ombudsman Stanislav Křeček, Slovak Ombudsman Róbert Dobrovodský, and Polish Deputy Ombudsman Adam Krzywoń.


 

The Commissioner for Fundamental Rights of Hungary emphasized the exemplary partnership between the Hungarian and Czech ombudsman institutions and the importance of joint action at the event, which was held with the participation of the ombudspersons of the Visegrád Cooperation countries. Dr Ákos Kozma also recalled the most successful joint initiatives of recent years, which have contributed to strengthening the high-quality professional cooperation among the ombudsman institutions of the V4 countries.
