Dr. Ákos Kozma paid an official visit to Valencia, Spain on 24 April 2024, where he conducted a meeting with the Director of the Valencian Anti-Fraud Agency (AVAF, Agència de Prevenció i Lluita contra el Frau i la Corrupció de la Comunitat Valenciana) Mr. Joan Llinares, among others. 

During the official meeting, the parties presented the institutions led by them, they shared the responses given to the fundamental rights-related challenges and their related practices with each other, furthermore, they discussed the bilateral working relations between their institutions, the development and strengthening thereof, as well as the possible ways of future cooperation. Dr. Ákos Kozma provided information on the extension of the competences of the Office as well, with special regard to the tasks related to the operation of the whistleblower and public interest disclosure system.
